The fourth course introduced me to the concept of a hollow portrait. A still life that represents a person. In French it’s called a “Portrait en creux” which sounds nicer to my European ears ;-). It’s a poetic way of introducing someone without actually seeing them, hence it’s the photo on the front-page of my website. Nice to meet you too :-).
